Hugs and kisses

When my grandma and grandpa's visit was over, everyone was really sad because they said they wouldn't see me for a long time. I wonder why I can't see my family more often? I was sleepy so I took a nap after they left. They gave me lots of hugs and kisses, and I love hugs and kisses!

I'm 9 Months Old!

Today I am 9 months old. I can't believe how big I'm getting! Mommy says the time has flown by. I'm really excited about all the new things I can do as I get older. I have 7 teeth now - they just keep coming! I wonder how many I'll end up with? I love to race around the house and pull up on everything! I'm working on my climbing skills - so far I can climb up three stairs at a time (not on the big staircase though) and today I even went down the three stairs. I can clap and wave when I'm in the mood! I give hugs, and I've even started giving open-mouthed tongue kisses!

Here are some pictures of me with my Uncle Daniel when he came to visit. Some people say I look like my Uncle Daniel when he was younger, but I didn't know him then, so I'm not sure. Mommy says he didn't have a moustache back then...

Another Christmas!

While my grandma and grandpa were here, we got to have another Christmas! I love all my new toys!

New foods

New foods are SO yummy! My mommy makes me all kinds of delicious food, and every day I eat something different! Like today for breakfast I ate oatmeal with raspberry, pear, and wheat germ, then for lunch I ate dried apricots and apples with vanilla and some parsnip, and then for dinner I ate vegetable orzo with tomato sauce made with coconut oil, leeks, and basil, and I also ate some edamame! Mommy tried to get me to eat some sweet potato and carrots as finger foods, but I wasn't really interested in them, so I just picked the puffs out and ate them, but I did eat the veggies when mommy fed them to me. It's just much easier to pick up the puffs and cheerios than the slippery veggies! Here's a video of me eating dinner tonight!

I love my granddaddy!

Last week my grandpa Dave and grandma Julia came to visit me, along with my uncle Daniel and cousin Juliann. It was SO MUCH FUN having them here, and I really miss them (I think mommy does too). Here are some pictures of me playing with my granddaddy at the beach!

It's great being a baby!

That's right, it's great being a baby, especially when you get to go naked in the sand! I guess since mommy let me do it once, now she's decided it's ok, so she lets me go naked in the sand all the time!

Watches!

I love watches! I can spend minutes at a time trying to get someone's watch off their wrist. I rarely succeed at removing the watch, so usually I will just gnaw on it on their arm. Well, my cousin Juliann was so sweet that she just took her watch right off and let me gnaw on it! Cousins are the best!

Welcome home baby Bradford!

I wanted to let everyone know that my cousin, baby Bradford, is doing very well and was able to go home with his mommy and daddy this weekend! The doctors say he just got off to a rough start, but he's all better now. Here is a picture of my itty bitty little cousin with our great grandmother (grammy). That's my grandma Reba sitting by grammy. This is when they got to see him for the first time! I can't wait to meet baby Bradford so I can show him how to go exploring!

Naked in the sand!

Yesterday, I had the time of my life at the beach! We went to watch daddy surf Waimea Bay and mommy FINALLY let me crawl around naked in the sand - it's about time! I had so much fun and everyone around thought I was the cutest thing they'd ever seen! I mean really, what is cuter than a naked baby in the sand?

The cage

I have a cage. Mommy puts me in the cage to play sometimes when she has to get something done. I like to play in my cage with my toys for a little while, but sometimes I don't like the cage or sometimes I get tired of playing in the cage...

...and when my thumb goes in my mouth, that usually means it's time for a nap!
