My first muffin!

Today I ate my first muffin. It was a banana muffin that mommy made for me. My muffin was really yummy and it was fun to eat. I didn't really like to pick up the small pieces of muffin mommy broke off for me because it was so much fun to hold the entire muffin and stuff it in my face! Yum yum yum!

New Trunks!

Now that I'm getting to be a big boy, mommy's finally found me some proper surf trunks! Now I have cool surf trunks like daddy and all his friends!

Auntie Rebecca helped me show off my trunks! She also played with me at the beach! But just like mommy, she wouldn't let me eat things off the ground that I wanted to eat. This stick looked SO yummy...

water water

It probably comes as no surprise that I love the water. I LOVE the water. Bathtime is one of my favorite times of the day. Even if I'm really tired and fussy, I will still have fun in the bath. I like everything about bathtime. I love to walk along the side of the tub and try to put my hand under the water, and I like to feel the water in my bathtub. I like to drop my toys into the water, and I love being in the water. But I spend most of the time while I'm supposed to be in the bathtub trying to stand up. Some of the reasons I stand up are because I want to chew on the side of the big bathtub, and sometimes I try to get my toys that I drop out of my tub.

The Zoo

A few weeks ago, mommy took me to the zoo, along with my buddies Devon and Gavin, and their mommy. My favorite part about the zoo was trying to eat the paper that Devon's food came in. My second favorite part about the zoo was watching the goats.

When I see something I want, I go straight for it! Obstacles? Not a problem!

Happy Birthday Liza!

Today is my friend Liza's 1st birthday, so I wanted to wish her happy birthday! Liza is a big girl now! Liza was born a few months before me, so that means in a few more months, I'll be a big boy!

I drink from my sippy!

In the last few weeks, I've really gotten the hang of drinking from my sippy cup! Mommy got this new kind called Nuby and they are the kind I like the most. I can drink all kinds of things from my sippy, such as milk, water, and even flavored waters that mommy makes when she cooks my fruits! Yay for the sippy!

The stairs

There is one room in our house that has some carpet, and that is the guest room. The guest room has three stairs. When we don't have guests, this is a good place for me to explore and climb, because I don't get hurt as much. This is where mommy and daddy let me practice going up and down the stairs!

Don't worry, I didn't get hurt because I fell into mommy's lap!

Playing the guitar!

Hanging out with daddy is really cool. One of the things daddy and I like to do together is play guitar. When mommy isn't around, daddy even sings to me!

Grass!

I have discovered something else I like to eat (that isn't food) besides sand - grass! I like to feel grass and play in it, and it tastes yummy too! But just like with sand, mommy and daddy don't like me to eat the grass...

Catching a wave!

Yesterday, after my daddy surfed at Waimea, he came to our beach and took me out on a boogie board and I got to catch some waves! It was the coolest thing I've ever done and I absolutely LOVED it! My buddy Devon also paddled out with us to have some fun! He's bigger than me so he can go out all by himself!
