Almost one!

Since Lily's birthday is tomorrow, mommy told me I'd better post her 11 month pictures immediately!

Georgia

Our big activity this summer was flying across the country to visit my grandparents in Georgia (and Tennessee). Lily and I packed up all our things and drug mommy on the 5 hour airplane trip, and we had so much fun! One reason we went to Georgia (and Tennessee), was to see grandma Reba. Grandma Reba recently moved to Tennessee, so we have to visit her there, but we still fly into Atlanta, because that is the only sensible thing to do.

And just so you aren't confused, these first pictures were actually taken at my grammy's house, which is in Georgia.

And these pictures were actually taken in Tennessee (if you believe that), at a park near grandma's house





I miss you so much grandma!

Girly curls

Sometimes people say I am so pretty with my curls that I should have been a girl. I generally disagree, I just think I have great hair. But after my friend Emma taught me about drawing on my face with markers, this is what happened.

Packpack

This is my packpack. Mommy got it for me to use on our trip across the country to visit her family. I had several other packpacks, but I wouldn't carry any of those. I love my owl packpack because I can put my trains and crayons inside and take them anywhere!

Water babies

Baby Lily really loves the water. I think she might even love the water as much as me!

I really like jumping off the side of the pool. I'm still working on learning how to jump out, into the pool, rather than straight up!

We go swimming every chance we get. This is a picture of me when I went swimming with my friend Oliver. Oliver's mommy and my mommy grew up together, so when we go "back home" with mommy, I get to see Oliver! We had so much fun jumping off the rafts over and over and over, and I got to eat my very first popsicle!

Babies

Whenever we go visit Oma and Grandpa, I like to see my friend Kaylie, and Lily likes to see her friends Taylor and Alyssa. Taylor just happens to be Kaylie's little sister.

Babies are funny. They play together in ways that are very different from how I play with my friends. They do things like try to eat each others heads and there is lots of pushing and pulling going on. Mommy says I did this with my friends when I was a baby, but I refuse to believe her.

This is Alyssa. She is trying to bite Lily's head. She's retaliating after Lily pushed her in the face.

See? I don't think babies really like to play together, since they are always hurting each other.

And here is Lily, going after baby Taylor.

Who me? I am so sweet! I would never bite my friends!

Lily doesn't understand why Taylor is trying to roll away from her.

Hair pulling is also great for babies.

Occaionally babies will gnaw on their toys instead of each other.

Lily was around 9 months in these pictures and Taylor and Alyssa were around 6 months.

Lily is very busy these days. Mommy often has a hard time taking good pictures of her because she just won't be still. She likes to crawl really fast and stand up and cruise around and get into everything. I can't wait until Lily can walk so we can do more fun things together!
