Hats

Hats are very cool. My favourite hat to wear belongs to Daddy. Daddy's friend Toby makes really cool hats, and this one has a bear on it, but you can't see it because I like to wear the hat backwards.

Sunglasses are also fun. I call them "gokies" because that's more fun to say than glasses.

Christmas Train

Another cool thing about Christmas is that I got to wear a shirt with a Christmas train on it. It is my most favourite shirt I've ever had and mommy had to wash it over and over again so I could wear it all the time. Mommy's friend Kim at Daisy Faye Designs made this shirt for me and I LOVE it, thanks Kim!

These are pictures of me at my special holiday class at Kindermusik.

I got to dance and do lots of cool stuff!

This is my friend Natalie going on a "sleigh ride".

I loved the sleigh ride and wanted to go again and again.

Yay for music!

Here I am wearing my Christmas train shirt in front of my Christmas tree!

Baby Lily also got a special shirt, a pretty pretty Christmas tree!

Christmas Dinner

For Christmas dinner, mommy made a very fancy dinner with help from my Oma and Grandma Reba. I still have my cold, so I wasn't too interested in eating. For Christmas dinner, I ate some apples and pears from the salad and a few almonds. I really like to eat almonds, but I always put too many in my mouth and end up spitting them everywhere, so I don't get to eat almonds very often. But Christmas was a special day.

Here I am at the table with all the grown-ups!

Baby Lily can't eat Christmas dinner yet, but she did get dressed up for the occasion.

Whenever the bouncer is not occupied by the baby, I like to sit there.

Hands?

Lily got lots of love on Christmas, and she didn't scream once the entire day!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was an exciting time! I got to open SO MANY presents and was surrounded by lots of people who love me!

This is a picture of my Christmas tree with all my presents underneath!

I found one of my presents from Grandma Reba first thing.

I haven't worked out exactly how to use it, but I'm having a lot of fun scooting around.

Wow, Uncle Daniel sent me Elmo!

I got a little scared the first time Elmo talked to me, but now we're cool.

I helped baby Lily by opening her presents too!

I got a drum and some shakers from my Grandpa Dave and Grandma Julia, cool!

Wrapping paper was lots of fun! Auntie Vivien and Uncle David sent me a lego farm set, wow!

Oh boy, a train set!

Daddy and I played train and it was so much fun!

The train whistle from my stocking turned out to be one of my favourite gifts, toot toot!

And Santa gave me my very own laptop, so maybe I'd stop harassing mommy while she's on hers.

I also got lots of cool books, art supplies, clothes, and more toys. I'm really glad I got so many new toys, because I was really getting bored with my old ones. Thank you to everyone who was so awesome and sent me such cool Christmas presents!

Merry Christmas!

Santa Claus

This year Christmas is very exciting because I am learning about Santa Claus. I can even say Santa and point to him in my books!
Mommy took me and Lily to see Santa and I got to eat a candy cane for the very first time, yum! This was Lily's first time meeting Santa and she slept the whole time.

Snow!

After we had Thanksgiving, I went with oma and grandpa and daddy to somewhere called the mountains and got to see something called snow. I was a little unsure about snow at first, but I quickly decided that snow was fun to play in, and I especially liked sloshing my boots through the slush. Lily is too little to go in the snow, so she stayed home with mommy.

Navy

Since my daddy is in the Navy, another word I'm trying to learn is navy. Right now it sounds like "yavey" and that is just fine. Lily and I also have matching Navy shirts, thanks again to mommy's very talented friend Kim at Daisy Faye Designs.

Aren't we cute?!

Cute

Cute is one of my new favourite words. I've learned a good time to say cute is when my little sister is around, so I say it a lot. Something else that is cute is when Lily and I have matching outfits. Mommy's friend Kim of Daisy Faye Designs made these matching shirts for us! Kim is very creative and makes very stylish, VERY CUTE clothes for little kids. These shirts are good for fall but they also have a very special design - can you guess what it is?!

I also like to show my belly button. Today I got a stamp at kindermusik right on my belly button, wow! Right now, I am 19 months old and Lily is 2 months old!
