8 Months

Since Lily is about to have her 9th monthday, I guess it's time to post her 8 month pictures.

Here's a link to some pictures of me when I was about the same age as Lily was here. Do you think we look alike? Do you notice how much bigger I was at this age than Lily?

Twint and Leela

Mommy and daddy's friends Twint (Quint) and Leela (Lina) came to visit us recently. They were a lot of fun, for grown up friends. They liked to play trains and go to the zoo and make yummy snacks and do all kinds of fun things that I like to do.

Twint played trains and read Thomas books to me over and over

And Leela went with me to feed the ducks

Please come visit us again soon!

Zoo with friends

One thing I like to do is go to the zoo with my friends. I like to see the animals, but mostly I just like to be with my friends.

Exploring with Addison

Wow, look at that!

I've got to get a closer look

Sticks are always good entertainment. Natalie and I love to collect sticks together!

I love to kiss my girlfriends goodbye

The giant anteater is the coolest part of the zoo!

Maybe the monkeys want me to come closer?

Look, I'm a baby roo, and there's my mommy too!

Hooray for fun with friends!

Boys and Girls

Boys and girls are something mommy keeps trying to teach me about. Mommy tells me that I am a boy and daddy is a boy, and Lily is a girl and mommy is a girl. When she tells me that I am a boy, she tells me about things boys do, and things that girls do. She tells me that things like hairbows and bloomers are for girls like Lily and my friends Ayla and Natalie and Addison, and not for boys like me and daddy and Max. But I'm not sold.

A Monthday Late

Oops, I got so wrapped up in my own birthday celebration that I forgot to show you Lily's 7th monthday pictures, and now we are already past her 8th monthday! So today I will show you her 7th monthday pictures so I can try to catch back up!

Lily is sitting with her great-grammy in these pictures, and we miss our great-grammy so much!
