Surfer Bears

Surfer bears are cool. When I was born, my grandma Reba and great-grandma Ellen made me a surfer bear quilt. Now that Lily came here, they made one for her too, but hers is pink and mine is blue. Great-grandma also sent a doll for Lily. Lily loves her doll, and I like to help her by giving it to her.

Here is me sleeping under my surfer bear quilt when I was brand new.

Lily especially likes her doll on her face. I know what a face is, and what goes on a face. I like to point to Lily's eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.

And I still like giving Lily kisses!

Bath time

Bath time is fun for everyone. I love taking a bath, and so does my little sister. Liliana got to have her first bath sooner than I did because her belly button got better quicker.

Well, here are some pictures of Lily's first bath. She wore the same cool rubber ducky robe and slippers as me! But unlike me, Lily loved her very first bath!

Lily is still a little baby though, so she doesn't get to have nearly as much fun as me in the bath tub!

The Park

One of my favourite places to go is the park. Lily doesn't go many places yet, but she does go to the park with us sometimes. She can't play yet though, so she just hangs out in the stroller. I can't wait until she's big enough to play with me!

My Bouncer

When I was a little baby, I had a bouncer. I haven't seen it in a while, but since Lily came to our house, it's back. I let her use it though, because I'm such a good big brother.

But then sometimes, I still like to sit in my bouncer...



I love you

I love my little sister. I say "babeee" every time I see and hear her, and I like to pat her (mostly gentle), and especially give her lots of kisses.

Lily likes to sleep a lot. This is very good for me, because it means mommy can spend all her time playing with me!

Grandma Reba

When my oma and grandpa left, my grandma Reba came to help mommy take care of Lily so daddy could play with me.

I like to play with grandma, but I've been a little worried that mommy is going to leave me again, so I don't let grandma get too close or mommy get too far. But, I will let grandma Reba feed me yum yums, such as her yummy homemade biscuits!

 

Mommy's Home!

Yesterday mommy got to come home! I am so excited, because I missed mommy SO much! I've been having a rough time with all the changes going on, but now that mommy is home, I think everything will be ok.

Yay for mommy!

Hello hello

One of the fun things to do when I visit mommy and Lily is talk on the phone. I love talking on the phone, and mommy has one right by her bed with big buttons and a red light, wow!

Baby Lily can suck her thumb already! I think this is very cool because I am a thumb sucker too!

Here is mommy with baby Lily. I am excited because mommy gets to come home tomorrow, and I've missed mommy while she's been away. There are some fun things in her hospital room, but it's much more fun to play at home!



I'm a hero!

Every time I come to visit mommy and Liliana, I get a sticker that tells me I'm a hero. I think this is pretty cool because I like stickers, and also because I'm an awesome big brother.

Because Lily decided to come out early, my oma and grandpa came to meet Lily and help daddy take care of me. They really like Lily, but they have way more fun with me.
