Hair cut

You all know that I have curly hair. Well, I really like my curls, and so does mommy. But daddy and oma said I needed a hair cut, so when oma visited me, she gave me my very first hair cut. I wasn't thrilled, but I got to sit in my chair and eat blackberries, so it wasn't that bad either. I still have curly hair though, it's just not as long and doesn't look like I have a frizzy mullet when I wake up.

Mommy wasn't quick enough with the camera to take a picture before my hair cut started, but these pictures show my curls pretty well.

Everyone says now I look like a big boy and not a baby anymore. Mommy seems sad about this, but I'm so happy to be a big boy because being a big boy is so much fun!

Clothes

Clothes are lots of fun! I like to put them on and take them off, but my clothes are hard to get on and off all by myself, so it's much more fun to play with mommy and daddy's clothes!

More friends

Another new friend that I made in San Diego was Harley. Harley's daddy and my daddy like to surf together, and Harley is a surfer too! I had so much fun playing with Harley and I can't wait until I'm big enough to go out and surf with her!

New Friends

Recently mommy and daddy took me on a trip to San Diego, where I got to make some new friends. One of those new friends is Kaylie. She is almost a year older than me and very very cute! We had a lot of fun playing at the playground, but every time mommy tried to take a picture of us together, one of us would run away!

I can't wait to see you again Kaylie! (and I think my mommy misses your mommy too!)

Let's Dance!

One of my new favourite things to do is dance! My grandma Reba sent me some CD's with lots of fun songs, so I like to turn the music on in my playroom and show off my cool new dance moves. I've only been really dancing for a few weeks, so I'm still working on my moves...

Yummy yummy!

One of the ways I tell mommy I'm hungry is I use my sign language. I use the sign for "more" to mean "I want to eat." I also say "eat eat," but the most fun thing to do is yell "yummy yummy!" Here I am eating a quesadilla like a big boy! I don't know why mommy even bothers to cut up my food anymore?

My Playroom

My favourite place in my new house is my playroom. It's so cool to have my own special little room for all my toys!
