Happy Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving, Lily and I got to dress up in matching turkey outfits. Mommy tried all day to get us to take a picture together, but neither of us would cooperate. When I wanted to sit still and be sweet, Lily was being fussy. And when Lily was quiet and happy, I decided to be fussy, but that's because I didn't feel well.

My favourite part of Thanksgiving was eating cranberry sauce, which is one of my new favourite foods. I am thankful for lots of things, other than just cranberry sauce. Things I am thankful for are my family, books, jumping, laundry baskets, balls, crayons, cheese, stickers, the letter H, shoes, music, and my blankie. Lily is thankful for mommy, milk, pacifiers, blankets, bath time, and her swing. We all have a lot to be thankful for!



Outside

 Now that the weather is getting cooler, we go outside every chance we get, because pretty soon it won't be fun to be outside because of cold and rain. Sometimes I ride in the stroller with Lily so she doesn't get lonely...

but other times I am a big boy and I walk!

I love being outside, and we are all starting to miss living in Hawaii, where we could be outside all the time!

1 month

Liliana turned 1 month old on November 1. My cousin Bradford has "month-days" for his month birthdays, so I think we'll have those for Lily too. And thanks to my friend Liza's mommy, we have these cool stickers for each of Lily's monthdays. So here are some pictures from her first monthday!

Halloween

Halloween was a fun day for me. After we carved a pumpkin, I took a nap. When I woke up from my nap, there was a lot going on in my house. Mommy had a huge cauldron of candy and she tried to get me to dress up in my costume. I was going to dress up in an updated version of my costume from last year,  and daddy and I were going to be matching, but I refused to wear my hat OR my moustache. So I only wore my white "pjs" and people thought I was a young Luke Skywalker.

Since I didn't wear my costume, we stayed at home and gave out candy to trick-or-treaters. We had over 300 kids come get candy from us, and I had a blast saying hi to them and chasing them and playing with them.

 

I played with the candy but no one let me eat any of it, because I don't eat candy yet.

This was my small pumpkin and I used it like a ball, since I really like balls. I threw it and kicked it and had a grand time!

This is what Lily did for Halloween. She still sleeps a lot!



My pumpkin

For Halloween, I got to help daddy carve a pumpkin! We had lots of fun and got to make a big mess!

I wanted to eat the pumpkin seeds off the ground, but mommy made me wait until she roasted them, yum yum!

I wanted to take a picture with daddy and my pumpkin, but I accidentally hit my head on the step, so I was crying in the picture...



But then I was okay, but I didn't want to sit by the step anymore...

I like when Lily wears this outfit because I can point to the cow, the sheep, and the pig!

It's fun to moo, baa, and oink oink!



Neigh neigh

A horse says "neigh neigh," and when I went to the pumpkin patch, I got to ride on a horse! Baby Lily is too little to ride on a horse, so I went all by myself with oma and grandpa.

My first time riding a horse was a lot of fun! I look forward to riding my grandma Reba's horse next time I go visit her!

Pumpkin Patch

Last week I went to the pumpkin patch. There was SO much to do at the pumpkin patch...

I sat on a great big pumpkin

I oinked at some pigs

I climbed up a hay pyramid

I let a goat lick my hand

I ran through a hay maze

I picked out a pumpkin for daddy to carve

I helped baby Lily balance on a pumpkin

And, I got some cool corn that I tried to eat on the way home



But my favourite things about the pumpkin patch were playing with the rocks in the gravel, and playing in the mud! I love being a little boy!
