Happy Birthday to ME!

Guess what? Today I turned THREE! But I had my birthday party on Saturday. You'll never guess where I had my party. That's right, the train museum! We got to go on a train ride and then eat our cake on a yellow caboose!

Here we are in front of the caboose

We've got our tickets, so we're all ready to go! See, tickets are very important when it comes to trains.

The conductor let me wear her hat, AND she sang happy birthday to ERIK!

We got to see something really cool and that was the engine switching from front to back.

Here it comes!

Discussing our tickets

I'm pretending to be non-plussed with this whole train ride so mommy won't be too pleased with herself for planning it.

But seriously, thanks mommy!

We had train shaped pb&j's, train cookies, and a train cake!

Partying in the caboose

The caboose had lots of interesting things to explore

and climb

Later on when we got home, Lily helped me open my presents.

A scooter, hooray! Thanks grandma Reba!

I took this picture myself when mommy got tired of me taking her picture and told me to go take pictures of my presents.

Hooray for birthdays!

And thanks again to Kim at Daisy Faye Designs for making my awesome birthday shirt!

Tacos

Tacos are one of my favourite foods. I mean, who doesn't love tacos? Naturally, I also love getting chips with my tacos. One night we went out to dinner for tacos and little did we know that little Lily absolutely loves salsa. She ate an entire bowl all by herself. Silly baby.

CHIPS!

I love my Uncle Daniel.

Lily also had fun feeding herself rice and beans. She's a hungry girl.

Yum yum!

Down South

We recently went on a trip down south to visit my mommy's side of the family. We had so much fun in Georgia and Tennessee playing with everyone. Here are some pictures from an afternoon at the playground with Grandma Reba, Uncle Daniel, my awesome friend Emma, and my favourite second mommy, Carrie.

Lily goes down the slide all by herself now. She's a big girl.

She also loves playing with balls.

I was grumpy here because I was being forced to stop wading in the creek. Wading in the creek is fun, and I don't like it when I can't do what I want.

Here's Emma and her mommy Carrie. Carrie is the most fun mommy I've ever met. She always lets us do awesome stuff and almost never says no and she gives the best treats.

Lily really enjoyed watching the dogs play in the dog park. Right now, dogs are Lily's favourite animal. Probably because that's one animal she can say really well. And I think she likes to make the barking noise a lot more than mooing or quacking.

Egg Hunting!

This year was Lily's first time hunting for Easter eggs, because last year she was too little. Here we are getting ready to go.

I wanted to wear bunny ears, but Lily wasn't so into it.

Kim at Daisy Faye Designs made our awesome Easter egg shirts. Thanks Kim!

Lily was brave enough to give the Easter Bunny a high 5. I wasn't as scared as last year, but I kept my distance. Babies aren't smart enough to be wary of giant bunnies.

Me, Ayla, and Addison getting ready to hunt eggs.

Checking out our treats.

TREATS!

The closest we got to the Easter Bunny. Obviously we were forced.

Lily and Addison enjoying some treats.

Me, Natalie, and Audrey took a few breaks from playing to raid the Easter baskets.

Finding Easter eggs is fun, but eating what's inside them is WAY more fun!
