Santa!

Tonight mommy and daddy FINALLY took me to see Santa. I was so excited to see him and tell him what I wanted for Christmas. Even Lily was excited to see Santa. Mommy was afraid she was going to freak out, but she walked right up to him and patted his knee, and happily sat on his lap. All she told him she wanted for Christmas is "chunch," and no one has been able to figure out what that means yet. Maybe Santa knows, because he seems to deal with a lot of babies.

Tomorrow night we get to go on the Polar Express, and I CANNOT WAIT!!! IT IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Before we had Halloween, we went to the pumpkin patch. We is me, Lily, mommy, daddy, Ayla, and Ayla's mommy and daddy.

We were forced to pose for lots of pictures

But we also did fun things, like climb hay pyramids with our daddies

And we saw pigs race

We climbed out of the hay maze

And we saw something mommy called redneck pumpkin shooting, where they fire pumpkins out of a cannon

We thought it was pretty awesome

Yay for redneck fun!

Then, finally, we went out in search of the perfect pumpkin

I love Ayla so had to make sure to stop and give her hugs

The sun was in our eyes, so we refused to look up at the camera

Lily got to hold our pumpkins on the way back from the pumpkin patch

I can't wait for next year's trip to the pumpkin patch!

Group Baths

Group baths are always the best! We got to take lots of baths with Emma while we were in the south, and we had so much fun!

Fountains

The absolute best thing to do near my Grandma Reba's house in the summer is go play in the fountains.

Creative Discovery Museum

Another thing I did in the south was go to the Creative Discovery Museum. I went with my friend Fiona, and it was SO cool! There is so much to do there that I could've spent days and days there and never gotten bored.

I got to dance on stage (that's Fiona running away, notice she taught me how to draw on my face with face paint)

I played piano 

We saw all kinds of dried up looking reptiles 

We went digging for artifacts 

Sand is always fun 

And the giant water table was one of my favourite parts!

I heard they've built a museum like this near where I live, so hopefully mommy can take me there soon.

Chickens

Since we were in the south, we might as well see some chickens too, right? And my friend Emma actually has her very own chickens, right in her back yard. And they make fresh eggs for her every morning!

I was excited to see the chickens, but once they came inside the coop, I wasn't so sure...

Grandma's Horse

One thing we did when we were visiting Grandma Reba is we went to see her horse. My friend Emma and her mommy went with us. Her horse was very big, and at first, we didn't want anything to do with it. So we sat in the cart and ate the apple we brought for the horse.

Finally, Emma's mommy convinced me that brushing the horse might be an ok thing to do.

Then, we let the horse eat the core of the apple, since we didn't want that anyway.

Lily also wasn't sure about the horse. She didn't even know what a horse WAS yet.

But babies are generally more fearless than toddlers, due to not having any sense yet...

Emma's mommy even RODE the horse. This scared me and Emma, so we decided to take play with this long, dangerous whip thing instead.

The most fun we had, by far, was taking a ride the cart.
