Akaka Falls

On our last day on the Big Island, we hiked to see a pretty waterfall called Akaka Falls. I was a little tired of riding around in the backpack, but after the hike I got to play in the grass, so then I was happy again!

Kilauea Volcano

I got to go on a hike of an ACTIVE volcano when I was on the Big Island - how cool is that? Daddy put me in the backpack and we hiked around and down INTO the volcano!

Mauna Kea

Another place we visited on the Big Island was Mauna Kea. Mauna Kea is a very very big "mountain" and daddy went all the way up to the top! Mommy and I couldn't go because of me being a baby and mommy having my little sister in her belly, but daddy said it was awesome at the top! While daddy went to the summit, mommy and I hiked around the visitor center, which is still really high up! It was much colder up high than the weather I was used to in Hawaii, so I had to wear pants AND a jacket!

There was a really cool silver cactus that I got to see!

And daddy and I got to do one of our favourite things together - eat!

I almost never ever fall asleep in my carseat, but sometimes, when mommy and daddy drag me around an entire island in a day and don't let me take a nap, this is what happens!

Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Park

One of the places we visited on the Big Island was Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Park. You should hear how funny it sounds when mommy tried to say what it was called. Here are some pictures of me exploring the beach at the park.

When we were "all done" exploring, daddy let me help him "drive" the car in the parking lot. I'm such a big boy and such a good helper!

The Big Island

Before we moved away from Hawaii, we went on a trip to the Big Island. I enjoyed seeing new things and had a lot of fun with mommy and daddy. Here are some pictures of me having a delicious breakfast in Kona!

Water Water!

The last few weeks have been very busy. We moved into our new house and I've been enjoying my own little playroom! Daddy started his new job and he works a lot. Mommy is very tired because of my little sister growing very big in her belly. One of my favourite things that we do a lot is go to the wading pool and fountain in our neighborhood. I have so much fun splashing and "swimming" around!
