Today I went to my very first surf contest! It was on the North Shore and is called the Eddie Aikau Invitational. It is a big wave contest, and WOW were those waves big! I ate a LOT of sand today, more than I'd ever eaten in fact. Every time mommy turned her head for a second, I shoveled another handful of sand into my mouth, yum! Mommy kept dumping water into my mouth and making me choke, but that didn't stop me eating sand. I was very tired but it was a fun day!
